Steve Howey is everywhere. Not that we mind really, because it’s like we’ve loved him since Reba, and now we get to see him more. We about died when we found out he was going to be in The Off Campus Series for Prime Video. And now he’s going to be in Netflix’s Ransom Canyon.
We thought that we would get all sorts of drama, knowing the way that season one ended – with Yancy’s wife showing up. Not too thrilled about that. We really want to know who is playing that role. With new casting and new characters, we’re really not knowing what to expect.
Howey has joined the cast of Ransom Canyon as a recurring character. He’s going to be playing Levi, a “mountain man of sorts who lives off the land.” Oh, and the good drama – he’s going to be Staten’s half-brother.
Can’t wait to see how this unfolds because we all know that Staten’s Dad is a piece of work. Now, we’re meeting his half-brother? We’re praying he’s a better man than Daddy. Cause Daddy is a mess.
April Blair adapted the Jodi Thomas books and serves as the showrunner on Ransom Canyon. The series regular cast for Season 2 includes Josh Duhamel, Minka Kelly, Lizzy Greene, Garrett Wareing, Jack Schumacher, Marianly Tejada as well as Casey W. Johnson.
