After Blue discovered the truth his parents had been hiding from him, it looks like we’re heading straight for plenty of drama in 9-1-1: Nashville Season 1 Episode 5!
Titled “Lost Children,” the crew of the 113 is preparing for Blue’s firefighter exam. Apparently it’s fail or pass and the Fire Chief is there to watch with other white shirts and Blue’s family. All of his family. Everyone coming together is featured heavily in the photos, showing Dixie interacting with other crew members to the delight of the viewer aka me. Because what did Dixie do to get a reaction like that out of Taylor?
Back to Blue. He’s done the training, even though Don just met him like 2 weeks ago, and he’s ready. Or ready as he can be as the promo for the episode features him yelling at Don and Dixie for hiding that they basically in contact his entire life. And honestly, the yelling is warranted for Blue. This was an unfair thing to keep from him. He ends up crashing out and then literally having a car crash into him.
On the emergency side of things, Roxie and Taylor are finally getting the chance to shine. They’re working against the clock to figure out the identity of an unconscious girl. But there’s more because of course there is. They also respond to an emergency with two kidnapped girls. If we combine that synopsis bit with the photos of Taylor looking like she’s off the clock and Roxie looking shaken up in bed, we’re finally getting something new on 9-1-1: Nashville!
