NCIS: Origins Season 2, Episode 5 ‘Funny How Time Slips Away’ is a big episode for the NCIS prequel, and a big episode for the franchise in general. Not only does it bring back Mark Harmon, it also sets up the first crossover between this show and the mothership. Did we expect to see a crossover between the show set in the past and the one it originated from before we saw one with the two shows that exist in the present time? No! But here we are.
And we’re not going to complain about getting an update from Gibbs, one that perhaps will give us a little hint about what’s happening on this show in the present time, which is the past for NCIS, but also will be the present on NCIS: Origins, at least for a while? Time is confusing.
