NCIS is celebrating a milestone not many shows can say they’ve achieved. After 23 Seasons, the CBS show is hitting 500 episodes!
To celebrate the moment, the show’s stars and executive producers got together during the production of the episode to toast the series. Sean Murray, Rocky Carroll, Wilmer Valderrama, Katrina Law, Gary Cole, Diona Reasonover, and Brian Dietzen got together on the set in Valencia, California.
But it wasn’t the balloons that caught the eye. Or talent. It was the iconic cake that the stars posed with. On a black board sits the words “NCIS” with a large 500 in the backdrop. Standing around the 500 are miniature cake versions of the cast, looking like they just pooped out of an episode.

Dietzen also posted a video holding his figure with the viral audio from Gabourey Sidibe’s saying, “B*tch, is this cake???” He then proceeds to lean down and bites down on the cake.
Valderrama also posted a video showing the cast and crew posing around the cake, sharing champagne, and taking photos of the cake. In the caption he wrote: “We’re humbled to share the responsibility of taking this show around the world with you. To our fans, thank you for letting us into your homes.”
The 500th episode of NCIS airs Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 8 p.m. pm ET on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
