Following the events of High Potential Season 2 Episode 7, taking the photos, promo, and synopsis as a starting point, let’s speculate about High Potential Season 2 Episode 8 ‘The One That Got Away: Part Two’!
In this episode, Morgan feels that Rhys is the thief they’re all searching for. But we also left her on the verge of sleeping with him. Will she actually go through with it? If you ask us, we don’t think so. After seeing the bullet scar and being suspicious of Rhys, we can’t imagine Morgan overlooking all that and going through with what she and Rhys were about to do.
So our bet is that Morgan will make up an excuse to Rhys and leave. What we are sure of, though, is that she won’t hesitate to tell the team, especially Karadec. And if the promo is any indication, his reaction to how Morgan started suspecting Rhys is going to be…hilarious. And we’re hoping he’ll be a little jealous too.
The point is, even though everyone’s suspicions about Rhys are growing, they have to keep up appearances to catch him. Although she’s not entirely comfortable with it. Judging by the photos, Morgan is going to intercept Rhys in the elevator and take a good look at what’s in his briefcase. Morgan doesn’t trust him at all, but is she right or just overreacting? If you ask us, we’re always rooting for Morgan. Rhys is the culprit.
Also, Roman’s backpack is starting to get dangerous. A mysterious man is willing to do anything to get it back. And we’re dying to know why. We can’t imagine what’s in that backpack that’s so important. Could it be false documents or evidence of a crime? The best part is, we’re getting closer to finding out!
