We don’t know about you, but we’re missing The Summer I Turned Pretty. We’re missing its stars, but we know that they all have things coming up, so we’re going to be okay with it. As connoisseurs of Christmas movies, we can tell you that Chris Briney in a Christmas movie is everything that we ever needed.
The Summer I Turned Pretty star and die-hard Knicks fan has been cast in Clashing Through the Snow, a new comedy feature. The feature is being billed as a Planes Trains and Automobiles for today’s peeps, and we feel like that’s a lot to love up to.
BUT, that being said, we have faith that this will be good for a certain reason. Not only is Briney a great actor, but the movie will be directed by Carlson Young. She’s directed Upgraded and the upcoming adaptation of Anna Todd’s book,The Last Sunrise. She’s also directed some other movies that you may know of – The Other Zoe, One Fast Move, and MAINTENANCE REQUIRED.
Daniel Mackey and Rebecca Ewing wrote the script. Their movie on Netflix, Love Hard did perform really well on the streaming service. Lena Roklin of Luber Roklin Entertainment will produce alongside Wonderland Sound and Vision partners McG and Mary Viola.
We can’t wait to see what comes of it.
What do you think? Is this a movie you’d want to watch? Are you excited for Briney in a new film?
