NCIS’s Brian Dietzen and Diona Reasonover cannot be called probies. Not anymore. They’re also not strictly partners. But the two, who play Jimmy Palmer and Kasie Hines on CBS’s NCIS (aka the mothership), are nonetheless hosting a podcast that will give us a look at the NCISverse. Yes, we said NCISverse. Because they’ll be diving not just into their show, but other shows in the NCIS universe.
The podcast, which “pulls back the curtain on the world of NCIS with revealing, heartfelt and often humorous conversations with cast, crew, creatives and real-world experts,” premiered today, March 3, with new episodes rolling out weekly. The first episode of the podcast features a conversation between Dietzen and Reasonover, with the next three episodes featuring:
Wilmer Valderrama (NCIS cast member) – March 10 |
Mariel Molino (NCIS: ORIGINS cast member) – March 17 |
Frank Cardea & Steve Binder (previous and current NCIS showrunners) – March 24 |
Other guests expected to appear include Gary Cole (NCIS), Susan Bluestein (former NCIS casting director), Caleb Foote (NCIS: ORIGINS), Daniela Ruah (NCIS: LOS ANGELES), Don McGill (NCIS co-creator), Tyla Abercrumbie (NCIS: ORIGINS), Shea Buckner & Hanelle M. Culpepper (NCIS: ORIGINS directors), Joe Spano (NCIS), Sean Murray (NCIS), Adam Campbell (NCIS and NCIS: ORIGINS) and Mark Horowitz (NCIS executive producer).
It sounds just like our thing, and to celebrate the launch, we had a chance to talk to Dietzen and Reasonover about their fun podcast, whether Kasie needs a girlfriend (and who she’d want to see play her), and even about what’s coming in the season.
