Chicago P.D. Season 13, Episode 17 ‘Partners’ is not actually about so many of the people you would think this word would apply to. Not about Adam and Kim, who are partners in every sense of the word. Not about Kim and Kevin, who have been partners at work for a very long time. It’s not even about Adam and Kevin, and that word applies there, too. Nope, it’s about Voight and Imani, and even so, the word surprisingly fits.
It’s been a weird season, but one of the most interesting things about it has been the growing partnership between Voight and Imani. Because there is just no other word for it. And, at some point, it was bound to start getting complicated, because if there’s something Voight isn’t used to, it’s having anything resembling a partner. Not anymore.
