In the world of verticals, we would consider Hannah Lowery an A-list actress. A fan favorite, Lowery is everywhere and is in high demand. She’s got a passion for the roles that challenge her and make her grow.
With a history of performing in the theater, competitive dance, commercials, and verticals – Lowery is motivated, driven and is just starting her career. She’ll keep growing and will continue to be someone that we keep our eye on. She’s going places.
Here are the verticals that we think you should start with to appreciate Hannah Lowery’s work.

PUCKED BY MY BROTHERS RIVAL
WHAT ITS ABOUT: If there’s one thing in this world Jenny would never do, it’s defy her brother Samuel. But Xavier appears, the arrogant, too-hot-for-his-own-good hockey god who’s her brother’s worst enemy-and shatters all of good girl Jenny’s principles.
WHY IT’S SO GOOD: I think we’re all in our hockey era and there is nothing wrong with that. Before the days of us watching Heated Rivalry, The Olympics, or The Off Campus Series. We watched this before the days of picking up all the books that were hockey romances – TikTok got us one night with an add for Pucked By My Brothers Rival. Hannah Lowery and Evan Adams sent us on a rabbit hole of finding all of the verticals that we have become addicted to today.
Lowery was all us in her role as Jenny. a girl who just wanted to me seen and experience life. She just wanted to love and be loved. She was vulnerable and yet strong. Lowery delivered on her performance and made us all feel seen on the screen. She was just that good.

Tell Me Not to Love You
WHAT ITS ABOUT: Brie is the daughter of a servant who works for Teddy’s family. She grew up living in the household with her mother and developed mutual feelings for the young master, Teddy. Once they came of age, Teddy began pursuing Brie passionately.
WHY IT’S SO GOOD: One of our favorite verticals of all time, Tell Me Not To Love You, is as YA as they come. Make no mistake though, verticals are almost all sexually charged. This one was good because it examined what two people – one who is rich, one who isn’t – and the way they fall in love. Now Teddy and Brie have grown up in the same house and now they are going to the same school.
He wants everyone to know that he loves her but Brie doesn’t want anyone to know anything. Brie is a person who wants to stand on her own merit and her own work. Yes, she puts everyone before herself and it takes a lot to push her out of that comfort zone. Lowery plays Brie and watching her, you can’t help remember all of the times that you’ve fallen in love and tried to hold it in.
She makes you feel the pain of falling in love and holding it in. However, her character also reminds you why falling in love and being honest about it is worth it.
Kissed by Claw and Fang
WHAT ITS ABOUT: Homeless teen Ivy conceals her poverty from elite school bullies while living in her car. She learns she’s fated to werewolf heir Sebastian and vampire prince Zane. As romance develops, a secret about her past endangers everything.
WHY IT’S SO GOOD: Werewolf and vampires are not our thing. We kind of gave that up after Twilight, but also hung onto it tighter. Lowery stars in this show opposite of Evan Adams and Ben Armstrong. and it’s just fun. Sometimes you have to remember that entertainment needs to be an escape and this vertical definitely is just that.
If you can’t have fun, laugh, and just enjoy the moments then you’re definitely missing out. Lowery does serious, romantic, and comedy roles. This one will make you laugh a lot.
Sex Education with My Enemy Stepbrother
WHAT ITS ABOUT: A long-time bullied nerd girl seeks her new stepbrother, the campus heartthrob, to learn dating and sex tips to win over the school’s hottest playboy to boost her popularity. Along the way, unexpected feelings blossom between them.
WHY IT’S SO GOOD: Falling for ones stepbrother – that trope isn’t one that everyone loves, but this one Lowery does take heart in. This is meant to be a moment that is a romantic escape. That is exactly what this one does. They weren’t raised together – so before anyone thinks that is what this one is – please know it’s not. Whether you like the trope or you don’t, you can’t look past the character growth of Lowery’s character and the how she manages to showcase that growth on the screen.

Sisterhood of Lies: Pledge for Revenge
WHAT ITS ABOUT: After Ashlyn dies in a sorority hazing “accident,” her identical twin sister June takes her place to get revenge on the real killers – Ashlyn’s back-stabbing bestie and her frat-bro boyfriend.
WHY IT’S SO GOOD: Did we like this vertical? Nope. But we can’t discount the job that Lowery does in this vertical playing two different characters. A lot of the time when someone plays duel roles the characters end up being the same, but Lowery manages to make them distinctive. She showcases her talent and we definitely love that versatility.

CORRUPTING MY BILLIONAIRE BOSS’S HEART
WHAT ITS ABOUT: When Lyla Walker starts working at the world’s most elite country club, she unwittingly brings chaos and temptation to her buttoned-up billionaire CEO Royce Kennedy. She’s ready to risk everything for their forbidden relationship, unaware of the promise he made to her dying father.
WHY IT’S SO GOOD: Once you realize that in verticals you will never be able to understand a timeline, rarely understand motivation, and you may never get a back story, you can start to enjoy them.
Lowery plays the good girl in a lot of roles that she takes on. In this role, Lowery’s character of Lyla is a good girl, but she’s also a character that gives no f***s and will tell it like it is. She’s a girls girl and has a strong work ethic.
This vertical was a romantic escape – wanting what you can’t have or what you can – that will have you cheering on Lyla and hoping that she always wins. She deserves it.
