If you’ve been missing Peter Krause since his sudden departure from ABC’s 9-1-1, then you’re in luck. Krause is heading back to network television in the form of the law enforcement drama Line of Fire. Even better, the procedural has gotten a series order from NBC according to TV Line.

What is Line of Fire about?
The official logline for the show reads:
“A family of law enforcement agents bridges personal differences and crosses professional boundaries as they tackle cases for the FBI, US Marshals, Secret Service, and Department of Justice. After a seemingly cut-and-dry case turns into a deadly conspiracy, they must use the expertise from a lifetime of protecting civilians and politicians to protect one another and bring the killer to justice… even if it means betraying their sworn code.”
Who stars in Line of Fire?
Peter Krause stars alongside Hope Davis (Your Honor), Kat Cunning (The Deuce), Tommy O’Brien (Grown-ish), Taylor Bloom (American Horror Story), and Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll). At the moment we don’t have any information about who they play. But the logline suggests that they are the family at the center of this show.
Where will Line of Fire air?
At the moment Line of Fire does not have a premiere date. What we do know is that it’s heading to NBC. And it’s written by Josh Safran with Jenna Bush Hager and Ben Spector as executive-producers.
It’s also important to note that the series was previously titled “Protection.”

Yes, we have! During what looks like filming of the pilot, Krause can be spotted at the head of a table surrounded by what looks like his character’s family. It seems to be a shot from someone on Davis team.
