If you have watched Off Campus, you know that one of the most iconic scenes is Allie Hayes dancing at Beau and Dean’s party. Dressed in Jennifer Lopez’ famous Versace jungle look from the 2000 Grammys, Allie is letting loose and not caring what anyone has to say or thinks about her dancing.
We loved it.
We love a moment where someone can let loose and feel free.
The clip of Allie dancing in the iconic dress is everywhere. We’re not complaining about that as Allie is one of our favorite characters ever. With moments from Off Campus all over social media we knew we’d see that iconic moment everywhere
We’re not the only ones that have seen it. Jennifer Lopez, herself, took to X and said, “love this shooooww.”
We can appreciate that dress and those moves are iconic. Mika, when talking to Betches UK, had this to say about the dress, “It was unreal. [The dress] was built from scratch. My first fitting was like, put on this nude leotard and we’re going to cut it up and pin all this s— to you,” Mika Abdalla (who plays Allie) said in a TikTok clip. “It was five fittings. It was insane, I was so taped in. I was ready to dance the night away.”
