In this episode, after everything that happened before the hiatus, Oliver has disappeared. He hasn’t shown up for his shift at the hospital, and Carol knows something’s wrong. Not going to the hospital is unlike Oliver, and after everything that happened with Sofia… Carol knows Oliver is in a bad place and she has to find him.
But first, she talks to Josh to fill him in. Carol knows that, regardless, Josh cares about Oliver. But she also knows that Oliver wouldn’t want Josh to see him like this. She’ll make sure to help Oliver, just like she has in the past. And we need her to keep fighting for Oliver.
Oliver’s absence hasn’t gone unnoticed by the rest of the team, and we’re curious to see their reactions, especially Charlie’s. However, a new patient arrives at the hospital, and that keeps everyone busy. This patient has a story they need to uncover to help her… and it won’t be easy.
