No one works harder than the Quinn app these days. Not even Kris Jenner, and we know she works hard. The Quinn app peeps are everywhere, looking all over social media and seeing what is sending all the people’s hormones into overdrive. And hey – they dialed into all of the hormones and said don’t worry, we’ll feed you.
We’ll feed you with Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn, best known as Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis from Prime Video’s Off Campus voices. They know that we love Dean and Allie. They know that these two and their portrayal of Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis have us questioning our allegiance to Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham.
The two will be voicing the three-episode immersive original audio romance Rent Free.
Our ears have peaked and we are very interested.
Spend that big girl money and subscribe to Quinn. The voices on the audiobooks will feed the ears and ignite the fire in your ears. A preview of episode one is available now on Quinn. Episodes 1 and 2 will premiere at 9 p.m. PT on May 27.
Yes, today is the day to do it.
According to Variety, Rent Free is about, “Within the span of 24 hours, Nora’s life implodes. She gets cheated on, loses her apartment, and suddenly has nowhere to go. With no other options, she moves in with Jack — her best friend’s older brother. Jack’s life is built on routine: work, the gym, casual hookups, repeat. But Nora’s arrival throws everything off balance. What starts as a temporary arrangement quickly turns into something far more complicated, and things get messy — fast. ‘Rent Free’ immerses audiences in an intoxicating romance about one apartment, zero boundaries, and two complete opposites.”
We’re there.
Popcorn popped. Headphones charged. Ready to listen.
In a statement, Abdalla said, “Both sets of characters have very specific fronts that they use to deny their attraction to one another. They both dip into vulnerability and then back out because they’re afraid. And I think that’s really fun to show to the world.
She added, “In modern romance, we’re too nonchalant. People are not expressing their feelings and desires enough, so it’s really fun to see these stories about desire. We have to start yearning again.”
Get in my ears, Rent Free. Get in my ears.
