Even though Hey Jonas podcast isn’t that old, we feel like it’s something we should have noticed earlier. Especially because we love a podcast and one that is hosted by the Jonas brothers? No second thoughts – we’re going to be listening.
The podcast welcomed a fan favorite – because who at this point isn’t obsessed with Off Campus – Mika Abdalla. The actress plays Allie Hayes and her characters relationship will be the central storyline in season two.
While there isn’t much that can be divulged about season two, Mika did say that season two will be like season one in the sense that it, “didn’t exactly follow the books.”
She said, “There’s some new fun stuff and some fun new little things that we’re adding in.”
Nick asked her about her personal life, “Obviously with the success of the show like this; there’s a lot of interest in personal life and you know at various stages in our life and career we’ve kind of gone through that and the amazing part of getting to do what we all do is that we have these amazing opportunities but it does come with some extra interest in these areas of your life. How has that been to navigate?”
She replied, “I think for all of us it’s just been really interesting. It’s something that like you think you understand but you don’t until you’re experiencing it and really understanding that.”
“And also, the cast members. You’re all going through it at the same time, kind of,” Nick added.
“That’s what I’m so grateful for. I can’t imagine being in this situation without like six other people that are going through the exact same thing. You know what I mean?” she said.
We believe that everyone deserves their privacy, so we do feel bad for her that her love life (as well as the entire cast) is always under surveillance. They owe us nothing, but give so much. We’re thankful for the Off Campus fandom and we’re thankful for the actors playing our favorite characters that give us so much.
