Charlie Evan Talks About Season 2 Of ‘Off Campus’

Charlie Evans, we didn’t know you, but we do now and we’re intrigued. Intrigued to the point where we’d like Hunter Davenport in Off Campus? No. But that’s because we’re Team Dean and Allie and somethings won’t change.

But are we wanting to know more about him and his life? Sure. Actually liked him in the books. Carter St James V, we liked him too. Hunter Davenport – no. Do not like him. Bar fights are below us all.

But Charlie Evans? We’re interested in knowing more. The actor recently spoke to SWOON about what he’s looking forward to in Season 2 of the hit Prime Video show.

Charlie said, “All that stuff with Allie, that vulnerability and that trauma, honestly, because he does have a bit of a sad history and letting those walls break down a bit, and seeing him just drop the BS and get into a place of realness, just kind of shedding all of these structural walls that he’s built up because of his family and what’s expected of him, and all of that stuff, and just kind of finding who he is.”

Does the man know anything about hockey? Like how to play? Well turns out that he’s done training camp up in Vancouver, already. He said, “I already did a whole hockey training camp. We went much more extensive in preparation for Season 2. We went up to Vancouver for a couple weeks, and it was really intense, but such a joy, and obviously, I’m doing it with the best guys in the world, and I am coming in late. They have had time to be on the ice together and bond in that way, but it didn’t feel like I was late at all. The second we all stepped on, we were all on different levels, but still there for each other and still getting tips and helping each other out.”

We love that they were all there for each other. After all when it comes to their characters in season 2, we’re thinking it won’t be the same.

He added, “It’s such a seemingly insurmountable sport to learn at first, but everyone, the coaches, and the whole Off Campus team, they were very supportive.”
