Sol has been dumped from the villa on Love Island USA Season 8 Episode 14. And we hate it.
From the very first moment that Sol stepped into the villa as a bombshell, she was doing what she was meant to do. She kissed all the boys, flirted, tested relationships, and tried to make a connection. But everyone was already acting like this was “Couples Island” instead of Love Island USA by week two to a degree where she never stood a chance.
Let’s backtrack a little.

Love Island USA Episode 1 was on June 2nd. Sol was introduced as a bombshell in Episode 6 on June 8th. She didn’t come weeks into the game where there was no chance and all the couples had gone through their trials and tribulations and were locked in. She literally came to the villa 7 days into this whole experiment. And in that time she was ignored, treated like an outsider, and then pied over and over for doing her job.
You know what didn’t help? Sincere. He talked to Sol and formed a connection with her despite being coupled up with Melanie. And sure, this is the whole point of Love Island USA and he was also doing his job. The problem lies in the fact that he never was in it or really interested in Sol. Instead it was giving when a toxic couple involves someone else in their relationship without getting that person’s consent because they want to spice up their relationship with mess.

Then there’s Episode 14 (June 18).
Sol and Sincere sat down to have a chat after the events of Episode 13 (June 16) where he went back to Melanie. He was talking to Sol because he seemingly felt like he “owed” this to her. What he didn’t expect is that Sol isn’t Melanie. No shade to Melanie. But every single time she has had a conversation with Sincere about an issue, he has twisted it around so she apologizes and backs away from her feelings. Sol ain’t like that.
Sincere expected Sol to be meek and understanding about why he chose this path and went back to Melanie. Instead, Sol clocked him and gave him the energy he deserved without backing down. She confronted him on the fact that he wasn’t upfront with her and played in her face and met him hit for hit. And he locked up, not able to even look at her or face the truth of what was going on because he’s a coward.

Oh and it gets worse.
Because Sincere goes and tries to turn it on Sol. He tells her that she can’t act like she’s all innocent in this. And instead of playing Sincere’s game, Sol asked him to tell her what she’s done to warrant him saying that. What did he come up with? Nothing. That’s why her being the one kicked out of this villa is of no surprise. Sincere is hurt, bitter, and embarrassed in the same way Kenzie was when Zach didn’t choose her. And it’s petty business.
At the end of the day, Sol went out swinging. She came and did her job as a bombshell, didn’t let a man try to gaslight her, and let the Islanders know how she truly felt by thanking them for putting her out of her misery. Sol’s got better things to worry about anyway, like Michael B. Jordan apparently liking her pics on IG. She’ll be good.
Love Island USA Season 8 airs on Peacock.
