Suddenly, I wish I had tickets to a soccer match. Before you get mad at me, yes, I know the world calls it football, and calling it soccer is bad. I accept the judgment. But why would I want to go to a match? For a concert, of course.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show, already previously announced Madonna, Shakira and BTS. That was enough to be excited. However, they just added more to the mix.
Organizers call the concert “a singular moment at the intersection of sport, culture, and impact, broadcast live around the world.”
They added Justin Bieber to the concert. It is taking place on Sunday, July 19, at New York New Jersey Stadium. Or you know, as we know it to be – Metlife Stadium. The 11-minute Halftime Show has been curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin.
“The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can,” Bieber said in a statement. “I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world.”
