Ransom Canyon Season 2 is almost here! Netflix’s hit western romance returns this month, bringing us back to the Texas town we couldn’t stop thinking about after that Season 1 finale. Josh Duhamel — Staten Kirkland
If there’s one person who defines Ransom Canyon, it’s Staten Kirkland. He’s a rancher still carrying the weight of unimaginable loss, and much of the story revolves around whether he can finally allow himself to move forward. His connection with Quinn has always been the center of the series, but Season 2 promises to test that relationship in new ways. And knowing Staten, he’ll never stop fighting for the people and the land he loves.

Minka Kelly — Quinn O’Grady
Quinn has spent years trying to build a life of her own while never truly leaving Ransom Canyon behind. She’s independent, determined, and understands Staten better than almost anyone else. But loving someone doesn’t always make life easier. Season 2 picks up with Quinn facing new opportunities and difficult choices, which means her future—and her relationship with Staten—will once again be one of the biggest stories to watch.

Lizzy Greene — Lauren Brigman
Lauren has grown up a lot already, but her journey is far from over. Between family expectations and figuring out who she wants to become, she’s one of the younger characters carrying some of the show’s biggest storylines in the new episodes. Her relationship with Lucas was one of our favorites in Season 1, and Season 2 will show whether the two of them can finally find their way back to each other.

Garrett Wareing — Lucas Russell
Lucas has been through more than most people his age, but he never lets that define him. That’s one of the reasons it’s so easy to root for him. His relationship with Lauren quickly became one of the highlights of Season 1, even if they never seemed to catch a break. With a new season ahead, we’re hoping life finally gives Lucas a chance to fight for the future—and the relationship—he really wants.

Jack Schumacher — Yancy Grey
Yancy came to Ransom Canyon carrying more secrets than answers, and it took a while to understand what was really driving him. Then Ellie came into his life and suddenly everything became more complicated. Season 2 begins with the truth finally out in the open, leaving Yancy to figure out what comes next and whether the people he cares about are willing to give him another chance.

Marianly Tejada — Ellie Estevez
Ellie is one of the warmest people in Ransom Canyon, but that doesn’t mean she’s afraid to stand her ground. She brings heart and optimism to a town that often feels divided. Her relationship with Yancy became one of the biggest surprises of Season 1 for us, and with his complicated past now out in the open, she’ll have some difficult decisions to make about what comes next for them.

Casey W. Johnson — Kit Russell
Kit has never needed to be at the center of the story to matter. As part of the Russell family, he’s always close to everything Lucas is going through, and that makes his perspective just as important. With plenty of changes coming for the family in Season 2, don’t be surprised if Kit ends up playing a bigger role than before.
