Every time Netflix shares another casting announcement for its upcoming adaptation of The Secret of Secrets, we’re more and more excited! Who is Who in the Series
Netflix has officially announced four new cast members joining its still-untitled adaptation based on the world of The Secret of Secrets. See them below:
Cherry Jones has been cast as Heide Nagel, described as “a U.S. Ambassador in Prague involved in a secret project led by Everett Finch.”
Corey Stoll will portray Everett Finch, described as “a former CIA agent.”
Rob Delaney is set to play Jonas Faukman, described as “an editor who gets caught up in a sticky situation.”
Abbey Lee rounds out the newly announced cast as Sasha Vesna, described as “a research assistant for scientist Dr. Gessner, with whom she shares a bond.”
The new additions join previously announced stars Morgan Spector, who will play symbologist Robert Langdon, and Rebecca Hall, who has been cast as Katherine Solomon, the scientist at the center of the story and Langdon’s girlfriend in the novel.
What We Can Expect
Netflix has also reaffirmed what we can expect from the adaptation. The series will blend futuristic science with mystical lore, staying true to the spirit of Brown’s latest novel. In The Secret of Secrets, Robert Langdon races against ancient forces—and time itself—to rescue a missing scientist and recover her groundbreaking manuscript before its discoveries can forever change humanity’s understanding of the mind.
It’s easy to see why Netflix is betting big on this franchise. Since the worldwide phenomenon of The Da Vinci Code, Robert Langdon has become one of modern literature’s most recognizable heroes. Across six novels, Dan Brown has sold more than 250 million copies in 56 languages, with Langdon previously appearing in Angels & Demons (2000), The Da Vinci Code (2003), The Lost Symbol (2009), Inferno (2013), and Origin (2017).
The success hasn’t been limited to the page, either. The Langdon film franchise has earned approximately $2.24 billion worldwide (in 2025 dollars), proving there’s still a huge audience eager to follow the professor’s next mystery.
The Secret of Secrets was published by Doubleday on September 9, 2025, and while Netflix still hasn’t revealed a title or premiere date for the series adaptation, each casting announcement makes us even more excited to see this new chapter of Robert Langdon’s story come to life.
