A high school comedy? We’re intrigued! I Suck at Girls is definitely the kind of show we can see ourselves getting into. This time, we’re not following the kids everyone knows at school. The Cast and Crew:
The show stars Kayo Martin as Steven, Jeremy Ray Taylor as Garrett, Laila Pruitt as Anna, Anna Konkle as Maria, Taegen Burns as Natalia, Brianna Reed as Emmy, J.J. Nolan as Coach Doyle, Paul Scheer as Mr. Jung, and Tory Kittles as Principal Harrison.
I Suck at Girls takes inspiration from the autobiography of the same name by its showrunner, Justin Halpern. He shares showrunner, writer, and executive producer duties with Patrick Schumacker for Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions.
In Halpern words, “I’m incredibly excited to make a show that can hopefully capture the funny, emotional, and oftentimes humiliating experience of growing up, as opposed to just the emotional and humiliating experience of my life as an adult.”
Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer for Doozer Productions are also executive producers, along with Chet Dave for Delicious Non-Sequitur Productions.
Tracey Pakosta, Netflix’s US vice president of comedy series, is excited to collaborate with the creative team.

The Plot:
According to the synopsis, in I Suck at Girls is “three awkward high school sophomores stumble through the messy world of teenage romance and identity, learning that sucking at girls is just part of growing up.”

Release Date:
There’s still no release date for I Suck at Girls. That said, production began this summer, so it’ll most likely premiere in 2027 only on Netflix.
