One of the best things about discovering a new talent is looking back on the things they did before they became famous with new eyes. Connor Storrie, who we all fell in love with in Heated Rivalry, has a lot of upcoming projects. But he’s also got some stuff that he filmed before Heated Rivalry. We already got to see him as a guest star on Criminal Minds: Evolution, and hosting SNL. Now, we’re getting a new (old) movie, April X.
Until recently, we didn’t know much about the movie. Now, however, we have a fair amount of information about the action thriller. We even have a trailer that once again shows how much of a chameleon Storrie can be, even while embodying a role that has some things in common with his breakout role of Ilya Rozanov.
Take Ilya but make it sci-fi, or something.
But what do we know about the movie? How long is it? When does it premiere? Here’s all the information.
Logline
Here’s the logline for the movie:

Music
Milan Records has released “He Won’t Get Far,” the lead single from composer Matthew Atticus Berger’s upcoming score for the movie, featuring vocals by Amanda Achen. The full Original Motion Picture Soundtrack drops on September 18 to coincide with the film’s worldwide theatrical release.
Berger said, “‘He Won’t Get Far’ is the theme the entire score grew out of — I wrote it before I’d even seen a frame of the film. It’s built entirely from voice and drums; anything that doesn’t sound human is actually Amanda Achen’s voice, twisted and processed into something else. The track starts with a single voice that slowly multiplies and morphs, layering into an ostinato — a sonic idea that becomes the backbone of the whole score. Amanda sings throughout, always as April, and that opening transformation carries an emotional charge I didn’t fully understand until started working on the rest of the film. The title comes from the villain’s line after he realizes Bax and April have slipped away, and this version of the theme carries the motorcycle chase that follows, her voice pulling Bax forward through all the chaos.”
Release Date
The movie is set to release in the US on October 2.
