9-1-1: Nashville Season 2 has *checks notes* murder hornets, biblical plagues, and someone targeting first responders. But let’s not forget Ryan Phillippe! Because he’s joining Season 2 as a series regular. And that right there adds another element to the first responders on Nashville in the same vein as 9-1-1 having May work at a hospital as a nurse.
As we get more information on the upcoming season, stop here for the latest trailers, cast announcements, or previews of what’s to come!
When did we last leave off?
Last we left off Blythe had enough of Dixie, leading to an epic brawl and abrupt cliffhanger when Dixie gets knocked into a wooden beam. Because Dixie wasn’t just coming after Don. She was coming after Blythe’s life’s work and her family’s reputation. And what was Don doing? Getting ready to cheat, that’s what. As for the other major storyline in the Season 1 finale, Sam faced a tough decision when it came to her pregnancy. Because it might take her life. But she’s willing to go through with it to have a baby with Ryan.

Trailers & Previews
The official trailer for 9-1-1: Nashville sets the stage for someone coming after first responders in Nashville. But instead of it being a shooter like on 9-1-1, they’re using plagues. Somehow. And you get to see killer hornets, boils, and pools of blood in the Season 2 trailer. But again, considering how 9-1-1 Season 10 has a volcano in their opening emergency, this is nothing.
Also looks like Dixie is alive. *sigh* But at least it looks like Blythe will finally call it quits with Don. If she survives these biblical plagues first. As for the rest of the crew at the 113, the trailer doesn’t clue us into what storylines they’ll be facing. Crossing fingers that we get more of Taylor and Roxie. Please.
