We have said it for years – Zoey Deutch has that thing. She’s a star and it is one on the rise. We have to say, we’ve loved her for years. So we get excited when we see her cast in something because – she’s amazing.
Zoey has landed the lead role, opposite Nicholas Hoult in Rebel in the Rye.
The movie is about the author of The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger. The movie follows Salinger’s life as he prepares to write Catcher in the Rye. Deutch will play the role of Oona O’Neill – a socialite that Salinger once dated.
They had that drama kind of relationship none of us want to have.
The movie is based off of the book, J.D. Salinger: A Life.
