I am trash for Christmas movies. I hate Christmas, but I love me some movies all about the season. Sure, normally my attention span is on Lifetime and Hallmark. But apparently I will be making my way to the movie theater this Christmas.
Henry Golding and Emilia Clarke are starring in Last Christmas and I don’t even care if it’s good or bad. It has them in it and that’s enough for me to hand the theater my credit card and say to just give me all the tickets.
The movie is about, “Kate (Clarke) harumphs around London, a bundle of bad decisions accompanied by the jangle of bells on her shoes, another irritating consequence from her job as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop. Tom (Golding) seems too good to be true when he walks into her life and starts to see through so many of Kate’s barriers. As London transforms into the most wonderful time of the year, nothing should work for these two. But sometimes, you gotta let the snow fall where it may, you gotta listen to your heart … and you gotta have faith.”
How damn cute is that trailer? And bonus – the movie features the music of George Michael.
Last Christmas opens November 8th and I can’t wait. Are you excited?
