I love Paris.
It’s one of my favorite cities in the world. So, it’s no shocker that I am looking forward to a television show set in Paris that stars Lily Collins.
Have you heard of Emily in Paris? If not, you should be paying attention, because this looks as though it’s going to be a good one.
The show stars Lily Collins and is currently filming in Paris.
Emily In Paris centers on Emily, a driven twenty-something American woman, who moves to Paris for an job opportunity, and is charged with bringing an American point of view to a French marketing firm. The issues of living in a foreign country, missing home, figuring out new friends, love, etc.
That sounds so interesting to me – and again – I love Paris, so bring it on.
Also it comes from the mind of Darren Starr.
It was announced that Tony-nominated actress, Ashley Park has been added to the cast, starring opposite of Collins. She will play Mindy Chen. Emily makes a new friend in Mindy, a twentysomething au pair. Unlike Emily, Mindy has fallen in love with the city and everything that it has to offer.
Park has starred in Mean Girls on Broadway, and other Broadway shows such as The King and I, Sunday in the Park with George; and Mamma Mia!.
