We’re looking forward to the return of Legacies. After interviewing the cast at San Diego Comic Con, we have more questions then we have answers.
The show is adding to the cast with The Fosters alum, Bianca Santos. The actress will play a pivotal role in the second season.
We found out at San Diego Comic Con that there would be a brother/sister introduced to Legacies, who both have a crush on Hope. She will play Maya, a sharp-tongued (we always love a strong female character that you can’t fuck with) and flirtatious new student at Mystic Falls High, the sister of Ethan (her brother who also has a crush on Hope?) and the daughter of Sheriff Mac.
We’re intrigued.
“We’re writing new brother and sister characters who are both locals at Mystic Falls High School, and they both have a crush on Hope,” executive producer Julie Plec had told TV Line at Comic Con.
Legacies is a spin-off of one of our favorite all time shows, The Originals. Legacies stars Danielle Rose Russell as Hope Mikaelson, a powerful witch, descendant of witch, werewolf, and vampire blood lines. She is one of a kind. She attends the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, along with several other supernatural kids. However at the end of the last season Hope sacrificed herself to Malivore in order to save everyone else.
Legacies returns Thursday, Oct. 10 at 9/8c.
