11 Times We Shipped Anastasia and Christian

It’s February, the month of romance and all the lovey dovey stuff. That means it’s time to talk about our favorite couples. For mine, I am going with “Christasia” (Anastasia and Christian) from EL James’ Fifty Shades trilogy.

Let’s be honest, the last several years, the Fifty Shades trilogy dominated (no pun intended) Valentines day. Seriously people, every single one of the films was released right before Valentines day. Fifty Shades of Grey was released February 13, Fifty Shades Darker on February 10, and Fifty Shades Freed came out on February 9th.

I don’t know about you all, but that is smart business. Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey’s love story was one a lot of people were invested in. Whether you were a fan of the books or not, people flocked to the the theatres to watch these movies. Why? you might ask, because it’s a beautiful thing to watch someone fall in love.

Now we can all agree Anastasia and Christian had a complicated relationship. From stalkery ex-subs, to psycho bosses, and the famous “Mrs. Robinson, they conquered it all. Their love was one we never ever gave up on because they were meant for each other.

These are the 11 moments when we shipped “Christasia”

First Meeting

I love how this scene was done. I loved watching Christians changing emotions as Ana asked him questions. You could see in that moment he realized she was someone he wanted to get to know. I love the back and forth between them and I still get warm fuzzies watching this scene.
Christian To The Rescue

Now I know for some people this is not a big deal but, when a woman says “no,” she means exactly that. Christian popped up at the right moment.
Elevator Kiss

This was the moment I had been waiting for ever since I read it in the book. It was done perfectly. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson nailed it.
Laters Baby

The cutest moment ever! Christian saying “Laters baby,” oh, my heart! I’m telling you, there was some major swooning going on inside the theatre when he said these words.
A Walk In The Woods

This was the first time Christian opened up to Ana about how he became a Dom. Not only that, he told Ana he was starting to feel something for her and he actually begged her to consider starting a relationship with him.
The Dance

This moment was so special because we saw a small glimpse of Christian letting his guard down to just have fun with Ana. When he’s dancing with her, he’s just enjoying the moment and allowing someone to be close to him in a way he hadn’t before.
The Glider

Just pure cuteness all around. Christian introduces Ana as his girlfriend and that was such a huge step for him. Also, the whole scene of him and Ana in the air just laughing and full of joy is delightful.
This Is Me

Christian finally let’s Ana touch him. He’s never let anyone other than “Mrs. Robinson” touch him so this was a very big step. In that moment, he was telling Ana he was giving his all to her.
Hearts And Flowers

The proposal, oh my gosh the proposal! It was done so perfectly and I definitely shed some tears.
The Wedding

Of course I shipped them on their wedding day. It was what we had all been waiting for. Christian spent his whole life thinking he was unworthy of love and would never get married. That is until Ana came along. The wedding scene is just beautiful.
Happy Family

Ana and Christian as parents is some super cute stuff. Ana could have lost their first child when Jack attacked her but she didn’t and I am so glad. Of course we know Christian wasn’t too thrilled initially but, that was because he was afraid he wouldn’t be a good father. To see the trilogy end with them happy with their little boy and another baby on the way, was just the sweetest.
