Five Feet Apart was a good book.
It was also a good movie
It’s no surprise that whatever these writers were doing next – that Hollywood would want to be all over that.
The upcoming YA novel All This Time by Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott has been picked up for adaptation by Lionsgate after a bidding war.
The book – what is it about?
Former high school quarterback Kyle is left grief-stricken by the tragic loss of his girlfriend Kimberly following a car crash. He eventually begins a cautious romance with an intriguing, creative girl, Marley, who enters his orbit. As strange events begin to unfold around him, Kyle comes to realize that his life with Marley might not be all that it seems.
Sounds like a tear jerker.
The book will be adapated by Daughtry and her writing partner, Tobias Iaconis. They will also be executive producing.
Jonathan Levine and Gillian Bohrer are producing All This Time for Lionsgate.
All This Time comes from Simon & Schuster and hits shelves, October 6th.
