If we’re being completely honest, I am not sure that I am up for this Saved By The Bell revival. I feel like they take all of the classics lately, and destroy them.
Does that mean that I won’t watch it? No. It doesn’t. Because as much as I am against something, it doesn’t mean that I won’t watch it to see if I am wrong.
With some of the original cast returning – one has to wonder if it’s really not that bad. I think that they all wouldn’t want to ruin their legacy either.
Mark Paul Gosselaar spoke with TV Line about the revival, and it’s left me wondering just what a grown up Zac Morris will actually be like. But like all fans, we wanted to know, how much of Tiffani Theissen will we get to see.
Luckily Mark answered that question for TV Line.
“As far as I know, she will be in an episode or two with me,” Mark-Paul shared. “She was, at the time, working on [Netflix’s Alexa & Katie].”
Mark is also working on another show. The actor stars in ABC’s mixed-ish.
We’re happy that the cast of the original Saved by the Bell is busy, but we’re even more excited for some Zac and Kelly time on the TV. Mark Paul is slated to appear in three episodes of the show and will executive produce.
The revival also stars Josie Totah, Mitchell Hoog, Belmont Cameli, Haskiri Velazquez, Alycia Pascual-Pena, and John Michael Higgins.
The revival of Saved by the Bell is currently filming.
