‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’ was a different beast of Katy Keene this week. For a musical episode, I was drawn in from the very beginning which is a hard thing to do. Let’s discuss!
KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN

I’m not going to lie, I usually HATE musical episodes of television. I love musicals at the theater, just not musical television. However, this episode was an exception. Jorge was exceptional. Fuck all those potential backers that left in the beginning. I would back you any day Jorge, and Ginger.
Ginger didn’t get to be the Spider Woman alone, but Jorge got to rediscover his love for Milena and play the role he wanted. His production turned out brilliant and it should have been on Broadway. Fuck all these casting agents and producers. Jorge is brilliant. Katy Keene got one right in this production of an episode.
P.S. I love Josie but Ginger was a much better Spider Woman.
EROLL

Prince Eroll just has to keep showing his face, doesn’t he? Katy is in way over her head with this wedding and the Prince. She should have listened to her intuition, that was telling her she shouldn’t be designing Patricia’s wedding dress, from the begining.
Katy needs to realize she has nothing to be guilty about, Prince Eroll does. He is the one that lied to her and said he was broken up with Patricia. If Katy went through with designing the wedding dress the only thing she should feel guilty about is not telling Patricia what happened. Katy Keene should fear the kiss of the spider woman she keeps seeing. Thankfully she did pay attention.
GUY

Katy, just run to Guy. He is offering you an apprenticeship. He is supportive of your career. Guy helped you out in your time of need. He has yet to take advantage of you in any way. This is him. Guy is the man that you date after a long term relationship. Fuck Eroll. He is a hot mess waiting to happen. You don’t want to be involved in that.
Mark my words Katy Keene. Guy will be the one you really date that isn’t a rebound after KO. He is what you need.
I think we have all had a Spider Woman at some point in our lives. Who or what is your’s? Share with us in the comments below.
