‘The Crown’ Will Not Make Us Listen To Tampongate

When it comes to the royals there are a lot of crazy controversial things that have happened. They have a lot of drama and it is all played out on the world stage.

The Crown replays all of the history of the royal family and I have to admit that there is a lot of things that I was hoping to see on the upcoming seasons of the Netflix show.

But there are also things that I never want to have to hear again. Like TamponGate.

Look the whole Charles and Camila thing is an important part of history, but the whole thing – mmm… no. TamponGate was a recorded conversation between Prince Charles and his current wife, Duchess Camilla, way back before they were married to each other. They were in fact married to other people.

And in the conversation one of the red flags that Camilla should have never been made public was the whole tampon conversation.

“When they offered me the role, one of my first questions was — I say questions, I think it was pretty much a statement — ‘We are not doing the tampon phone call.’” said Josh O’Connor who plays Prince Charles.

And thank the Lord for them not wanting to touch that, because I don’t want to hear him ever – or anyone for that matter – ever speak those words.

And if you don’t know about how Prince Charles wanted to be a tampon – I suggest looking it up. Cause I am never want to even read the words or hear them.

Ewww…

Thank you to The Crown for not subjecting any of us to this again.
