Percy Jackson.
Now, I am one of the few people in the world that didn’t mind the movies. Sure, the books deserved better, but I am used to not expecting much about adaptations.
That all being said am I excited that Rick Riordan announced that an adaptation of the series is coming. But even better is that Rick will be involved every step of the way.
I think if we’ve learned one thing in life it’s that authors need to be more involved in taking their stories from the book to the screen.
Rick and his wife Becky announced, “We can’t say much more at this stage but we are very excited about the idea of a live-action series of the highest quality, following the storyline of the original Percy Jackson five-book series, starting with The Lightning Thief in season one. Rest assured that Becky & I will be involved in person in every aspect of the show.”
