‘The Crown’ Is Now Set To End With Season Six

Finally, some good news and no surprise that it comes from Netflix. NBC and ABC have a tendency to let me down.

The Crown had been set to end with season 5, but apparently, we are getting one more season.

“As we started to discuss the storylines for Series 5, it soon became clear that in order to do justice to the richness and complexity of the story we should go back to the original plan and do six seasons,” said creator/executive producer Peter Morgan.

We agree with this choice Peter Morgan.

It won’t bring it closer to present day, but will allow it to develop the time period it is in, in better detail.

The Crown, Season 4, is set to premiere later this year on Netflix. Are you excited that we are getting a Season 6?
