Ya, ya – this happened a bit ago, but like sue me. I am late. It doesn’t mean that my love for The Crown has faded. It has only grown.
Lesley Manville has been cast as Princess Margaret in the sixth and final season of The Crown.
Vanessa Kirby (Seasons 1 and 2) and Helena Bonham-Carter (Seasons 3 and 4) have previously played the role of Princess Margaret.
“I could not be happier to be playing Princess Margaret,” Manville said in a statement. “The baton is being passed on from two formidable actresses I really don’t want to let the side down. Furthermore, to play siblings with my dear friend Imelda Staunton will be nothing short of a complete joy.”

Lesley Manville is not someone that we are familiar with, but we love this show so much, we know that they would not cast someone who is not up to the role.
Are you a fan of The Crown? What are your thoughts on the sixth season being added?
