A Discovery of Witches is one step closer to returning to our screens according to Sky TV. Based on the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness, the series follows Diana Bishop, played by Teresa Palmer. She’s a young 30-something witch who never really embraced her powers or what she was meant to be until she ran into Matthew Clairmont, played by Matthew Goode, the dark prince of her dreams. Literally.
And it’s crazy to think that about two years will have passed before we get more of A Discovery of Witches. But at least now we know how long we still have to wait and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel in form of season 2. According to Sky TV, the series is set to return January 2021. The only sad thing is that the US premiere is slated as early 2021.
On a positive note, especially in the time of corona, it seems like Teresa Palmer might be on her way to filming season 3 of A Discovery of Witches. A fan account tweeted about Palmer making her way to Cardiff for filming and a producer responded with a heart emoji. Yes, it’s not a confirmation, but we’ll take it as one until told otherwise.
A Discovery of Witches is set to return early 2021.
