I am kinda loving that you can watch anything from home lately, because I am so scared of Covid-19 that I barely want to leave my room. I didn’t know I was a germaphobe, but we all discover new things about ourselves every day.
There is no one that is hotter lately than Joey King. The Kissing Booth franchise has propelled her to another level, and I firmly believe that part of that is that she promotes the hell out of everything she does. You can’t miss anything she does.
Her upcoming movie, The Lie, which is a Blumhouse horror movie originally premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in 2018. Who knows why it took so long to come out. My only excuse is – Hollywood.
The movie’s plot? Two parents (Mireille Enos and Peter Sarsgaard) must deal with the grisly aftermath when their teenage daughter (King) confesses to killing her best friend.
The movie going to Amazon Prime is part of a deal between Amazon and Blumhouse. They have 8 movies that will go straight to Prime.
The movie is set to debut October 6th.
