Fangirlish ‘Lucifer’ Season 5 Reactions Secrets Revealed!

Lucifer season 5 is here! Surely you’ve seen the show – more than once – and it’s time to unravel the mystery: we’re finally going to reveal what my Fangirlish partner Lizzie and I were reacting to in our reaction videos.

As you know, we reacted to the same scene in both English and Spanish. But here’s the thing: most of the time it wasn’t just one scene but several. Now, we’re going to make a list of all our reactions and tell you the exact minute to which we reacted. In addition, we’re going to tell you some behind-the-scenes secrets. We can freak out together now!

You can probably guess that yes, there will be spoilers for season 5 here, if you have not seen the full episodes yet, read at your own risk.

Here we go!

Episode 1 – “Really Sad Devil Guy”

Minute: 41:45 (talk between Lucifer and his torture of the day) until the end of the episode.

Fun fact: The moment that bothered Lizzie so much, and in which I reacted as Phoebe (“my eyes, my eyes!”) was the scene between Ella and that guy.

Episode 2 – “Lucifer!  Lucifer!  Lucifer!”

Minute: 45:40 (Michael prepares for his “date”) until the end of the episode.

Fun fact: We are both so proud of Chloe here!

Episode 3 – “¡Diablo!”

Minute: 2:40 – 6:53 (REUNION)

Fun fact: We also wanted to react to the heartbreaking final fight between Deckerstar, but we had to choose, because the reunion happened at the beginning and that fight was at the end of the episode, which meant having to advance too much and reveal that there were two separate scenes, so…we chose the reunion…for reasons.

Episode 4 – “It Never Ends Well for the Chicken”

Minute: 45:00 (“Dan” is taken to jail) – 49:58 (final talk between Lucifer and Lilith).

Fun fact: At first we thought about reacting to the scene between Maze and Lilith, but we thought it would be more fun to do it with the kiss between Lauren and Tricia. It would be something different and none of you would find out what it was all about, driving you a little crazier. Yes, we were that mean!

Episode 5 – “Detective Amenadiel”

Minute: 47:45 (Chloe / Amenadiel talk AKA ephiphany) until the end of the episode.

Fun fact: It was difficult for us to do just one scene.

Episode 6 – “BluBallz”

Minute: 49:40 (Uncle Luci and daddy Amenadiel want to get rid of Dan so that uncle Luci do his magic with Charlie) until the end of the episode.

Fun fact: We were clear that we wanted to react to THAT scene but it was very difficult for us to skip all of the above (specially Chloe’s speech, we love her even more for her words) because this episode is GOLD.

Episode 7 – “Our Mojo”

Minute: 50:40 (Chloe in Lucifer’s penthouse doing her stuff AKA domestic Deckerstar) until the end of the episode.

Fun fact: We would have liked to react to the cute scene the next morning but the same thing happened as with episode 3: we would give too many clues that they were different scenes, given that they were so far apart in the episode. Also, since most of you imagined what happened in episode 6, we didn’t want to make it so easy for you.

Episode 8 – “Spoiler Alert”

Minute: 53:44 (Lucifer pissed off because Amenadiel stops the time at THAT moment) until the end of the episode.

Fun fact: It was so difficult to choose the scenes in this episode! We were clear that we had react to the final scenes but there were so many things there…at the beginning, we wanted to react to THE TALK AKA Deckerstar but we saw that it would be too long a video so, with all the pain in our hearts, we started to react later.

Did you expect those scenes, Lucifans? Did you get any of them right? Don’t forget to share with us what you think on Twitter!

  1. I just have to say this, I am 47 years old, married with 3 children and never, ever in my whole life have I enjoyed a show so much as Lucifer. I am totally obsessed (might have something to do with just how gorgeous and charming Tom Ellis is, but besides that) I love it, I can’t wait to open my Twitter timeline each day just to read all the posts and just feel part of a group of people who I can share my silliness and obsession with (my family thinks I’m nuts). In these days of pandemics, politics, bills to pay and homeschooling this is my escape from reality that keeps me from loosing my mind.
