We’re not even sure if this is good news, or bad news, but it is news, so …yeah? Jared Leto is reprising his role as the Joker in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
I mean, Suicide Squad was …eh. And Jared Leto is …eh. He hasn’t been hot in ages, ever since we learned stuff about him, and his antics on the set of Suicide Squad would have been a little too much had that been the only thing we knew about him. Plus, we thought this movie only needed like …minimal reshoots? What’s the budget for this again?
And I was on record saying Snyder deserved to have his vision brought to life, but this is sounding like …a riskier and riskier proposition for a streaming service with not that many survivors. But I mean, what do I know?
Maybe the one thing that movie we watched and didn’t like needed was …eh, the worst Joker?
I’m sure someone will be watching those four hours and filling us in on whether this was a good idea or not. More and more it seems like that person won’t be me.
