Personally, I love Cardi B. I think that she’s a genius, talented, and is always thinking five steps ahead. I admire her bluntness, openness, and her do not give a fuck attitude.
I know that a lot of people have their opinions on her, but you can’t deny that she’s a cultural icon.
And the cultural icon has booked her first lead role in a movie, in Paramount’s upcoming film “Assisted Living.”
The movie is being called “raucous comedy” with “tremendous heart.” While it’s also said to be in the same genre of classic funny films like “Sister Act” and “Mrs. Doubtfire,” I have to think that no matter what it is, it’s the first of its kind – because its Cardi B and there is no one else like her.
According to Variety the movies is described as: “Amber (Cardi B), a small-time crook who finds herself in over her head when a heist goes wrong. On the run from the cops and her former crew, she struggles to find anywhere to hide. Running out of options, Amber disguises herself as an elderly woman and hides out in the one place no one will look — her estranged grandmother’s nursing home.”
There are a lot of things that come to mind with this description, but I feel like Cardi B can pull this shit off.
Cardi B has been in a film before – she starred in Hustlers alongside Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu and Keke Palmer.
Excited to see her in this film. Are you?
