With all this talk of a Willy Wonka movie circling about, we thought why not an LGBTQ+ film dedicated to the candy maker? And not just a dark and gritty story about the origins of Wonka, like we fear that they’re doing. Because honestly, who wants that? We’re talking about a fun, slightly disturbing, yet hopefully queer remake of the OG movie Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory!
Note: Some of the LGTBQ+ actors picked for this fan casting are a little older than the original kids used for the movie. Just flow with it, because if they can do a origin story for Wonka then you can overlook that some of these picks are older.
