I’ve always been fascinated by Rebel Wilson, because she says it like it is, laughs, and is uber talented. I love that she is not afraid to take on any kind of challenge or role.
And honestly, I love her choice of roles.
The superstar has signed on for a new role, the lead in Senior Year. The movie, which will come from Paramount Players, tells the story of a “woman who wakes up after a 20 year coma and returns to high school trying to regain her status and become the prom queen that she wanted to be.”
All I keep thinking about is that it’s going to be like Never Been Kissed and I don’t know about you, but that excites me. I loved that movie – the whole premise of returning back to high school (which for the record is something that I never want to do).
And Rebel Wilson as the lead in anything has me sold.
Alex Hardcastle, best known for his work on Love, Simon, You’re the Worst and Grace And Frankie, is set to direct.
Are you a fan of Rebels? Does this sound like a movie you would want to watch? Sound off in the comments.
