We cannot wait to see how the Dregs from Six of Crows are portrayed on the screen in Netflix’s upcoming series Shadow and Bone series. While we’re not going to meet them all just yet, one that excites us is Jesper Fahey, the sharpshooter, played by Kit Young.
And since we’re ready to fall in love with Jesper, we figured we’d give you some facts about Kit to get you excited!
He was born and raised in England, and is of Scottish and Ugandan descent
He also has two sisters, one of whom is a musician under the name of Piripa.
His career started on the stage
He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Acting. Since 2013, he has appeared on the British stage in eight productions with roles in Tom Stoppard’s The Real Thing and Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar and Macbeth.
He also played Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream alongside one of our favorite actors, Gwendoline Christie, which was screened in theatres as part of National Theatre Live.
He appeared on an episode of the British detective show Endeavor in 2019
After wrapping Shadow and Bone, he went on to shoot an upcoming horror film in Scotland called The Origin. It takes place during the Stone Age.
During lockdown, he took part in Ecoute Theatre’s production called Take Care, which highlighted the lives of carers during the pandemic
