The first season finale made us laugh…before making us cry so much, we still hadn’t emotionally recovered by the time of the second season premiere. “Zoey’s Extraordinary Dad” is one of the most poignant episodes of television history, perfectly highlighting both the beauty in and tragedy of loss.
First Place: 1.08: Zoey’s Extraordinary Glitch
One of Zoey’s darkest moments during the first season led to one of the funniest episodes of the show, as “Zoey’s Extraordinary Glitch” had Zoey singing songs for a change. Out loud. Against her will. At the absolute worst moments. It was messy and hilarious, and its victory as the winner of the first Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist Favorite Episode Tournament is no surprise.
