Fangirlish Reacts to ‘Lucifer’ Season 5B: Amenadiel

We’re here again! Lucifer Season 5B is close enough but, to liven up the wait until May 28, Lizzie and I have a lot of ~~torture~~ fun stuff prepared – yes, reactions included… they are coming, don’t worry but this time, since we have a little more time to play …we thought we’d give you a little bit more.

Your questions are always smart and fun, but we know you want to know a little more about Lucifer Season 5B than Twitter allows us to answer. So we’re going to do a video giving you our general impressions – no spoilers – of each of the main characters. But… what about the ships? We all want to know about our ships! Yeah, we can’t live without them either, so we feel you. And we’re also did that for our two biggest ships on the show: Deckerstar and Mazeve.

Now, when we talk about giving our general impressions of the characters, after throwing some goodies on Lucifer, Chloe and Maze, it’s Amenadiel’s turn! Amenadiel is a character who won us over the seasons and is one of the best in Lucifer Season 5B. This part of the season for him is about trying to reconcile his past with his present and his future.

Amenadiel always felt like the right hand of his father, his favorite and that carried expectations … that he feels that he is not fulfilling at the moment. Before, he didn’t question anything that God said but now … he really tries to go back to that but he can’t. Amenadiel has his own mind now, his own opinions and must reconcile that with trying to do what he thinks his father expects of him.

Also, being Charlie’s father gives Amenadiel a new perspective because now he is living what it is to be a father and now he can understand that his idea of his father is not the only one and that others, like Lucifer, have the right to feel how they feel. In fact, the brotherhood between them is stronger than ever. United front. We feel really emotional seeing how far they’ve come.
