One thing that we can respect about Lucy Hale is that she takes chances and has a diverse acting resume. She’s not afraid of taking on a role that is out of the norm. She likes to challenge herself.
Her latest movie, Borrego, is set to be shopped at Cannes this month and the first stills have been released on Instagram.

The movie is about, “a young botanist (Hale) who relocates to a small desert town to study an invasive plant species. While out on research, she comes to the aid of a downed plane only to find herself taken captive by an inexperienced drug mule who forces her to lead a trek across the sweltering desert to his drop.”
Also starring in the movie is Nicholas Gonzalez, Leynar Gómez, Jorge A. Jimenez and Olivia Trujillo.
