I know I can’t be the only person that bought Lucy Hale’s country album. And for all of you judging me right now – whatever. I like country music, and I like Lucy Hale.
And girl has a set of pipes on her.
On the season finale of Katy Keene (and if you’re reading this The CW, it better just be the season – cause if it’s series, we’ll have word) the actress showed off just what an amazing singer she is.
The actress belted out “She Used to Be Mine,” which was written by Sara Bareilles for the Broadway musical Waitress.
Side note – I miss Broadway. But let me get back on the subject.
Lucy said that “She Used to Be Mine,” is actually one of her all time favorite songs.
“It was like one of my top three favorite songs before they told me I was going to sing this song. So, it’s kind of a full circle moment. It’s a big song to tackle, so I’m glad they trusted me with it,” Lucy said on The Talk. “We have a lot of Broadway’s legends on the show and a lot of Broadway influences.”
I miss Katy Keene already and can’t wait to hear about a second season.
