The final episode of Lisey’s Story, the Apple TV+ drama based on Stephen King’s book and adapted by King himself, will air its finale episode tomorrow. The show, which has been lauded particularly for its female characters, is set to wrap up an eight episode run that has had us on the edge of our seat.
Not that we should be that surprised. This is a Stephen King adaptation, after all.
The synopsis for the finale episode doesn’t give much away, but it reads as follows:
Lisey faces Dooley and discovers Scott’s final gift to her.

“Lisey’s Story” is a deeply personal, pensive thriller that follows Lisey Landon (played by Julianne Moore) two years after the death of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (played by Clive Owen). A series of unsettling events causes Lisey to face memories of her marriage to Scott that she has deliberately blocked out of her mind. Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Dane DeHaan, Ron Cephas Jones and Sung Kang also star alongside Moore and Owen.
