My love for Christmas movies and my dislike of Christmas is strong. I can find a way to like anything that is a Christmas movie, until now. It’s the title alone that makes me go, oh dear Lord.
But that being said, I will probably watch it and love it. It’s just who I am.
Peacock has a Christmas movie coming, entitled, The Real Housewives Of the North Pole. And it’s actually starring a real housewife, Kyle Richards. Come on Kyle, I get you are an actress, but this is too much.
Also starring in the film is Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad, Life In Pieces).
What’s it about? Well, “The Christmas Queens of North Pole, Vermont, Trish (Kyle Richards) and Diana (Betsy Brandt), have won the Best Holiday House decorating competition every year for the past nine years. But days before Christmas, a friendship-ending argument sparks a town-wide feud and draws the attention of a national magazine writer hoping to make a name for herself with her scintillating expose titled, Real Housewives of the North Pole.
It sounds like a movie that I would watch and I get the marketing play on this, but I hate the name. That being said, I will hate watch, probably like it, and write about it (obviously complaining about the name the whole time).
No premiere date set as of yet, but we know it will be this year.
