If it feels like we’ve been waiting forever for this Dune adaptation, it’s because we’ve been waiting forever for this Dune adaptation. The pandemic changed the release dates for many movies, and this was one of the most anticipated ones that got pushed back. But we’re now in July, and the movie is finally coming in October – both to theaters and HBO Max – so it’s time to start getting excited again!
And excited we are. Because look at those posters. Look at Zendaya! Look at Oscar Isaac. Look at Jason Momoa. And fine, I guess look at Timothée Chalamet too. This looks amazing, and for fans of the series, it’s truly been a long time coming.
You can check out the posters below. And you know, click on them, amplify them, do whatever you need.

Oscar nominee Denis Villeneuve (“Arrival,” “Blade Runner 2049”) directs Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Dune,” the big-screen adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal bestseller of the same name. A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, “Dune” tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.
Dune will be available in theaters and on HBO Max October 22nd.
