Twitter is the devil and it should go down in flames. It is one of those places where the worst comes out of people and they think that they can say whatever they want with no repercussions.
It isn’t easy for anyone, but it’s definitely not easy for a celebrity. United States Women’s Gymnastics Team member and Olympic All Around Champion has stated that she’s probably going to delete that app.
Following her Bronze Medal win on bars, Suni commented that she had put “too much pressure” on herself and that she had “got distracted and lost focus a little bit when I won the gold medal.”
We know that many people are their own worst critics, but Suni, we’re proud of you. We’ve seen that you’ve been under a tremendous amount of stress – the whole team has – and you guy have kicked ass.
She took to Instagram to post about the win.
“olympic bronze medalist on bars.” she wrote on the post.
“definitely wasn’t the routine i expected to do, but i’m so proud of myself for not giving up. disappointed & sad but beyond blessed to say i’m third in the world on bars. wish i could have gotten to show everyone what i am capable of !! thank you for your endless support. 🤍 beam finals up next !” she continued.
She said in interviews that she was going to take a break from social media and take time for herself before the beam finals.
“I’ll probably cool down a little bit and just focus on what I need to do especially because we’re coming to the end. I want to just do the best I can and end it off good.”
“I’m probably going to delete Twitter. Instagram is not as bad because I can’t really see what people say, but [on] Twitter it’s just so easy to see everything. So I’m probably going to have to end up deleting that,” she also said.
Definitely don’t read the comments. But whatever you decide Suni – we’re behind you and so proud of you.
